Current News and Events- Have a Grade 8 level referee course starting on Intro night :

12/20/17 7:00 PM- 8:30 PM at the SFYS league office 



Please make sure you do your job as a referee if not you will not earn your full fee.

Check teams in- Make sure you look at all the passes 

Show up on time and in proper uniform

Fill in all details on your match report. Which teams had STAR referees and the full name of the STAR referee

If you had a change in your referee crew . Need  to know the change and the name of the new person in the crew.


STAR Referees:

We will be having an Intro night on 12/20/17  at SFYS league office 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM 

You should attend one of intro nights dates which are  to explain the program and the course. This is the new STAR program to get more adults in the referee program. This course is for parents of players that play on SFYS Rec teams. Anyone can sign up for this course. We will also have an additional classroom sessions. We may also have additional field sessions which will be posted on this website and the SFYS league website.

To register for the STAR program, choose your grade (comp or rec), register online and select the field session below.

Grade 8 is for Comp teams. Grade 9 is for Rec teams.

We could really use some more adults for the Spring 2018season. Before the start of the Spring season every team in District 1 will have at least one adult that have taken and passed this course.

Want to earn a bonus this season?  Attend the weekly referee roundtable at the league office on Wednesday's from 6:30-8:30 pm.  Interact with other referees, discuss the good, the bad and the ugly from the previous week, and get additional training. Sign up for more matches for the season.
